Joni is a consultant for the natural product, wellness, and spa industries. She has over 20 years experience designing formulary guidelines for natural and organic skin, body, and hair care products, evaluating existing products, recommending ingredient improvements for efficacy and marketing, creating proprietary aromatherapy blends, and providing technical support for label copy, sales sheets, advertisements, and educational materials.

She often serves as a liaison and creative consultant between the manufacturer and the cosmetic laboratory, and provides formulary guidelines and recommendations for essential oils, herbs, plant oils, specific vitamins, and unique ingredients.

Joni has overseen projects with a variety of manufacturers including Oshadhi, Beauty Without Cruelty (BWC), TRUE Cosmetics, Nature’s Baby Organics, Eco-Dent, Juice Beauty, DreamTime, Bella Essentials, and Tisserand Aromatherapy.

As a licensed cosmetologist, natural skin care aesthetician, and author of Natural Skin Care, Joni writes and edits for technical accuracy for natural skin, body, and hair care product labels, sell sheets, advertisements, websites, and educational materials.

Education / Training

Joni is a well-organized, knowledgeable, and thorough instructor. She teaches natural skin care for lay people, retail staff, and professionals. She also ‘trains the trainers’ for personal care lines, especially those oriented to the natural product and spa industries. Classes are tailored to meet the needs of the sponsor.
